Talking Heads

One face, fourteen stories. Participants slip-cast the same life-sized head, then gave it their own voice. Together, the heads strike up a conversation – and you're invited to join in. Leave your own commentary to become a part of the dialogue.

As a teacher and a human, I have loved seeing my ceramics family find their own unique way to express themselves using similar materials and forms but making each one their own.

Shoutout to everyone for their hard work and the team effort it took to pour the molds for everyone!

This project has given me the opportunity to express my feelings in a visual and tangible way. It has forced me to think about what I create and that I want viewers of my piece to reflect on their feelings as well.

This assignment was a fun and creative experience that allowed me to express my artistic side while also engaging my analytical side. I enjoyed exploring the connection between art, Greek mythology, and my personal interests, combining creativity with research and critical thinking to create a piece that was both meaningful and uniquely my own.
